Bridgend favour Andrew plan
January 5, 2000

The unstinting support for a British Superleague in Wales has been undermined by Bridgend managing director Leighton Samuel.

"Many of the clubs pushing for a British League have not considered the criteria needed to fulfil such a commitment," said Samuel. "I support the stance taken by England's Rob Andrew and believe all Welsh clubs need to get their house in order. I fully support Andrew's call for a two year cooling-off period."
