Edinburgh Reivers chief Nick Oswald believes his side will bounce back from defeat against Northampton when they face Neath in a crucial Heineken Cup match on Friday.

The Myreside battle is crucial for both the Scottish Super District and Welsh side's hopes of progressing to the next stage of the prestigious European competition.

Last week's defeat leaves Reivers just two points ahead of third-place Neath but the Welsh outfit have a game in hand and another defeat would be disastrous.

``This is a crunch match and one that both teams have to win,'' Oswald admitted.

``We were delighted with the support we received from the match against Northampton but were very disappointed with the result. We are determined to make amends this Friday and win.''

The game has captured the hearts of Reivers fans, who will be pumped up for the game in Scotland's capital city.

Oswald is urging the public to help lift the Reivers blow away the Neath threat.

He added: ``There is a fair bit of interest in this match already and I would encourage all Edinburgh Reivers supporters to come along to Myreside and cheer us on to victory.''
