Inga to seek British citizenship?

Newcastle's Va'aiga Tu'igamala may seek British citizenship to solve their problem of too many overseas players caused by the arrival of John Leslie.

Despite playing for Scotland, John Leslie does not hold a British passport. His arrival at the Falcons means that to play their desired side they would infringe the limitations on the number of foreign players permitted to play at one time in the Allied Dunbar Premiership.

Only two overseas players can play in any Allied Dunbar team and as South African Marius Hunter completes a trio of foreigners at the club, Samoan 'Inga' has spoken of a desire to get a passport.

Newcatle boss Rob Andrew said, "It's impossible to say when Inga will get his passport but I'm confident we can resolve this quickly.
