New Zealand, fresh from last Sunday's win over Fiji in the Punta del Este Sevens Gold Cup event, will target more glory when the fourth leg of the IRB sevens circuit opens Wednesday at Mar del Plata, Argentina.

The All Blacks squad, who defeated Spain, Peru, Uruguay, Canada, South Africa and Fiji, racking up 243 points and conceding only 36 to triumph in Uruguay after an earlier win in Dubai, will have to beat off strong competition from the Fijians as well as South Africa and Samoa.

Fiji won the tournament in Stellenbosch, South Africa, and will again be expected to be in contention.

Fiji will meet Uruguay, Germany and Canada in Group A, New Zealand face the United States, Peru and France in Group B, Argentina's Pumas play in Group C with South Africa, Spain and Brazil and Group D comprises Australia, Chile, Paraguay and Samoa.

Going into the tournament, New Zealand lead the IRB standings with 56 points followed by Fiji (52), South Africa(36), Samoa (30), Australia (24) and Canada (14).

The sevens bandwagon later moves on to Wellington, New Zealand, Sydney, Australia, Suva in Fiji, Hong Kong and Tokyo before the final event in Paris in May.
