Scottish Cup draw announced

The quarter final draw for the SRU's three competitions has been made although there are still several outstanding games from the fifth round to be completed.
The games are all scheduled for 12th February and it is hoped that the backlog of matches, created by widespread frozen conditions on fourth round day in December, can be cleared before this date.
In the main competition Strathendrick, who upset the odd to beat Stewart's/ Melville have been rewarded with a home tie against Hillhead/Jordanhill or Musselburgh. The holders, Gala, if they overcome Kirkildy will also be at home in the quarter finals against either Currie or Selkirk.
