Australia to join World Junior Championship

The increasingly popular World Junior Championships will include Australia this year ensuring the participation of all the major rugby playing nations.

The Wallabies, who have been absent in previous years, will line up against England in their opening pool game on April 14.

The reigning champions New Zeland will begin their defence against Spain while last year's runners-up Wales will play Uruguay.

The annual competition featuring 32 sides in three divisions is now has £450,000 worth of sponsorship by the International Board. The final will take place in Dijon on April 23.
