Maggs out of Irish squad

Kevin Maggs has been forced to withdraw from the Ireland senior squad for the weekend's game against Scotland.
The bath player picked up a hamstring injury in his club's win over Bedford in the allied Dunbar Premiership at the weekend and declared himself unfit when the team assembled in Wicklow on Monday.
Fellow squad member Justin Bishop is also considered doubtful for selection because of a jaw injury, however there was good news on Jeremy Davidson who, although he didn't play for Castres in their 50-13 win over Begles-Bordeaux on Saturday has declared himself fit.
The team for Saturday's match is expected to be announced on Tuesday, and as yet no extra cover has been called up for either Maggs or Bishop.
