Fiji to play in Malaysian Sevens

The Fijian Rugby Union has accepted an invitation to send its sevens team to the inaugural Malaysian sevens tournament in Kuala Lumpur between 17 - 19 March.

This is a week before the IRB World Series Tournament in Hong Kong.FRU Chief Executive Bob Challenor has yet to decide when the players will prepare for the tournament and whether the same team will travel to Hong Kong.Prize money of $200,000 is up for grabs in the Malaysian tournament and the event will obviously be given a huge boost by the participation of the Fijians.
