Brumbies' coach critical of Super 12 judiciary
February 28, 2000
ACT Brumbies'coach Eddie Jones has questioned the authority of the Super 12 judiciary after his side's defeat to the Auckland Blues on Friday night.
Jones is particularly concerned by the treatment meted out to fly half Stephen Larkham. He was subjected to at least 3 late tackles , one by Blues' lock Troy Flavell particularly angering Jones.
Flavell elbowed Larkham, who was floored for several minutes as a result.Flavell was sin-binned by referee Andre Watson.
'I don't think anyone likes to see that sort of treatment to any player in the world and hopefully the citing commissioner will have a look at a few of those incidents and treat them how they should be treated ,' said Jones after the match.
