Metcalfe wins Scots Player of the Season award

Glenn Metcalfe has been announced as the Famous Grouse Scotland Player of the Season 1999/00.
In a closely run competition over 12 matches, which started back in August 1999 when Scotland played Argentina, the following players were voted by selected members of the media as their top five players during the season.
1st Glenn Metcalfe
2nd Martin Leslie
3rd Scott Murray
4th Budge Pountney
5th Tom Smith
Commenting on the award Tara Serafini, Global Marketing Manager for The Famous Grouse, said: "Glenn's scores from the media show that he has been one of the most influential players for Scotland throughout the season both in attack and defence. The award is a tremendous achievement and richly deserved."
