Munster expecting capacity crowd
April 4, 2000

Munster, who have extended the capacity of Thomond Park have sold nearly all the tickets for their European Cup quarter final with Stade Francais.
Despite the increase in capacity over 90% of the 13, 400 available tickets have gone with the game still over a week away.
The Irish Provincial champions have also added a warm up fixture to their quarterfinal preparations and they will travel to Leicester this weekend. Chief Executive of the Branch, Garrett Fitzgerald said: "We are very pleased to have arranged a friendly for the players to have some match practice before the quarter final.
Meanwhile, Georges Coste, the Stade Francais coach, will be using his ERC privilege to register two extra players prior to the Munster clash. International stars, Christophe Dominici and Thomas Lombard picked up knee injuries in Stade's victory over La Rochelle on 11 March and while Dominici is expected to recover within two to three weeks, the season is over for Lombard who has undergone an operation on his knee ligaments.
Stade Francais have other injured players within their squad at the moment - lock Hervé Charffardon has had an operation on his heel and hooker Daniel McFarland has a back problem which will most probably keep him out of the Munster match.
As a result, two young players will be added to the 30-man squad for the knock out stages - probably scrum half Sylvain Jonnet and full back/wing Jeremy Foissac the most likely candidates.
