Spencer on the way to Leicester?

Reports in the Southern Hemisphere are claiming that Carlos Spencer is near to signing for Leicester Tigers.
The 25-year-old All Black fly half has been out of action this season due to a knee injury, but with his contract with Auckland Blues due to end this year he has been a target for several English clubs.
Although he has also had talks with Dick best about a possible move to London Irish the 12 times capped Spencer is believed to favour a move to Dean Richard's side.
Since the retirement of Joel Stransky the Tigers have struggled to fill the fly half berth - with England winger Austin Healey recently filling in at No.10.
