Gibbs to feature at league World Cup?
April 5, 2000

Scott Gibbs is poised to strike a deal to play rugby league during the off-season and could be in the Wales team at this year's World Cup.
That is believed to be the price Swansea are prepared to pay for keeping the man they regard as a talisman for another four years.
They have beat off a bid from French club Agen for outside-half Arwel Thomas, who is expected to sign a long-term agreement with Swansea.
Swansea, who have received a four-year cash injection of £1.2m, are poised to strengthen their squad by signing Neath's Wales Under-21 outside-half Cerith Rees.
