Lamaison injures knee again
April 6, 2000

Brive's French international fly-half Christophe Lamaison, who missed four of the five Six Nations matches with a right knee injury, injured it again on Wednesday in his sides French Cup victory over Stade Francais.
The 28-year-old, who inspired France to last year's World Cup Final and the 1997 Grand Slam, had to go off in the 30th minute and was replaced by Scotland's fly-half Gregor Townsend. "My knee is still hot but I do not know how serious the injury is," he said. "I will find out before the end of the week," he added.
Lamaison, who was again at his best in the Six Nations opening 36-3
thrashing of Wales, injured knee ligaments while preparing for the match with England in February.
