Springboks add Argentina test to tour

The Springboks will play four Tests on an end-of-year tour of Argentina, Ireland and Britain, bringing to 12 the number of internationals they will play during a gruelling season.

The South African Rugby Football Union on Tuesday announced the dates of the team's final tour, with Tests against Argentina in Buenos Aires on November 11, against Ireland in Dublin on November 18, Wales in Cardiff on November 25 and England in London on December 2.

Four midweek matches with venues and opponents have yet to be finalised.

The four-Test tour means the Boks will play a total of 12 internationals during the season - with eight of those against three of the world's four top-rated sides.

They will play Australia and England three times each and New Zeland's All Blacks twice.

June 10: v Canada, East London
June 17: v England, Pretoria
June 24: v England, Bloemfontein
July 8: Mandela Trophy: v Australia, Melbourne
July 22: Tri-Nations: v New Zealand, Christchurch
July 29: Tri-Nations: v Australia, Sydney
Aug 19: Tri-Nations: v New Zealand, Johannesburg
Aug 26: Tri-Nations: v Australia, Durban
Nov 11: v Argentina, Buenos Aires
Nov 18: v Ireland, Dublin
Nov 25: v Wales, Cardiff
Dec 2: v England, London
