Possible Euro semi-final venues confirmed
April 12, 2000

The possible venues for the semi finals of Heineken Cup have been confirmed with the Madejski Stadium in Reading earmarked for a possible second rugby showpiece.
If quarter-final rivals Northampton or Wasps, who clash at Franklin's Gardens on Sunday, are drawn 'at home' then the game would be held at the Reading Football stadium, where last weekend's Tetley's Bitter Cup semi finals were held.
At the semi final stage clubs must play on a neutral venue, however the side drawn first in each semi will have the game played in their country.
Venues have also been allocated for other sides, depending on the outcome of Sunday's semi-final draw, which takes place at Franklin's Gardens. Llanelli or Cardiff will move to the Millennium Stadium, while Lansdowne Road, Dublin is Munster's next port of call, should they beat quarter-final opponents Stade Francais and avoid an "away"
semi-final trip. Thethree remaining French clubs, have nominated Parc des Princes (Stade Francais), Lyon (Montferrand) and Bordeaux (Toulouse).
