Wallaby coach Rod MacQueen has supported the idea, put forward by the Australian Rugby Union, to play the Tri Nations test match against South Africa under a closed roof at Melbourne's Colonial Stadium on June 8.

If South African coach Nick Mallett agrees, it will be the first test played indoors.MacQueen said that the Wallabies would prefer to play in dry conditions, which are conducive to better handling and a better all round game of rugby.
