The Irish squad to face the Barbarians at Lansdowne Road on 28th May includes five players not selected for the tour to the Americas next month.

With Munster playing their Heineken Cup final the previous day coach Warren Gatland has drafted in Jeremy Staunton, Brian O'Meara, Marcus Horan, Shane Byrne and Trevor Brennan for the showpiece game against the Barbarians.

Only three Munster players are included, Frank Sheehan, O'Meara and Horgan, who are all expected to be on the bench when the Provincial champions face Northampton at Twickenham.
