Tigers' clash with Bath a sell-out

Leicester Tigers will again achieve a capacity crowd for their end of season game against Bath a week on Sunday.

Tickets for the game have now sold out and, with the addition of a temporary stand and extra corporate facilities, the Tigers are looking at their second successive crowd of around 17,000 for the crunch encounter.

Tigers' Director of Operations David Clayton said, "It shows what terrific support there is for the club that we can put the 'sold out' notices up nearly two weeks before the game is due to be played.

"We have had tremendous support both at home and away during the season and I know how much the players appreciate this."

Leicester need one more win from their two remaining games, against Bristol at The Memorial Ground on Sunday or Bath at Welford Road on May 21, to retain their Allied Dunbar Premiership title.

For fans unable to make the trip down to Bristol, the club will be showing the match live on a big screen in the Tiger Bar.
