Scotland announce sevens squad

Scotland have included four newcomers in their squad for this weekend's Paris sevens.

The debutants are the Hawick duo Neil Stenhouse and Colin Turnbull, who are rewarded for fine form on the Borders spring circuit, Charlie Keenan, whose pace has been seen to advantage in the abbreviated game and Nathan Hines, who has been given the all clear to resume following shoulder surgery. Hines played a pivotal role in Gala's triumph at the 1999 Melrose Sevens.
Gareth Flockhart of Glasgow Caledonians as originally selected for the side but hasbeen forced to with draw with a groin strain, and has been replaced by Cameron Mather (Edinburgh Reivers).
The Scots have been drawn in the same pool as Australia, Canada and the French Barbarians for the event which is the final competition in the World Sevens series.

Players in both the senior and under-21 Scotland tour parties for New Zealand were not available for selection.
