Pretoria - National coach Nick Mallett has made one enforced change to the starting line-up for Saturday's Vodacom International against England at Minolta Loftus. Willie Meyer will start the match after first-choice tighthead prop Cobus Visagie failed a fitness test at a contact session at the Pretoria Police College on Wednesday afternoon.

Visagie, who was in the side originally announced on Wednesday morning, sustained a rib cartilage injury early in the second half against Canada and was replaced by Meyer. "It's very unfortunate that Cobus has been ruled out as he has been one of our stalwarts, but I have lots of faith in Meyer's ability to do well. He performed extremely well for the Cats in the Vodacom Super 12 this season," said Mallett.

The coach also made two changes to the bench where Ollie le Roux and Albert van den Berg replace Meyer and Japie Mulder respectively. The Sharks duo return after two weeks' fitness training under the watchful eye of Phil Mack. Van den Berg has also just recovered from a shoulder injury sustained during the Vodacom Super 12 and will be eager to get some game time after five weeks on the sidelines.

Dan van Zyl retains his spot on the bench after Werner Swanepoel failed to recover sufficiently from a sprained ankle.
