Reds teams for tour decider
Vancouver
August 12, 2000

Glasgow Caledonians aim to lift their first trophy of the season when they take on British Columbia in the Coastal Cup decider at Wolfson Fields, Vancouver, tomorrow [Saturday 12 August].

Both the Reds and BC have previously beaten the tournament's other contestants, the Pacific Coast Grizzlies, by comfortable margins. Their respective scores were 55-14 and 55-3.

David Jordan, the Reds' Chief Executive, when announcing the team for tomorrow, pointed out that the selection took into account the week ahead, when the Reds have matches against last season's Heineken Cup finalists, Northampton and Munster. The Reds visit Northampton to meet the European champions at Franklin's Gardens on Tuesday evening, and they will host a game against Munster at Bridgehaugh, Stirling, a week tomorrow [Saturday 19 August].
