December 23, 2000

Neath came from behind to grab a thrilling win in the Welsh/Scottish League against Glasgow Caledonians.

The visitors raced into a 17-6 lead after 27 minutes and were still 17-14 ahead at half-time.

But the lead changed hands a further five times during the second half with a 62nd-minute try by Shane Williams putting the home side 27-22 in front.

Back came the spirited visitors to lead 29-27 before, in the 74th minute, substitute full-back Kevin James went over for Williams to convert from the touch-line.

The Wales wing finished with 19 points; a try, conversion and four penalties to pass 200 points this season.
