Wasps find backer

Wasps have been bought out in a multi-million pound deal that secures their long-term future.

Administrators BDO Stoy Hayward have negotiated the purchase of the Zurich Premiership club by London Wasps Holdings Ltd, a company backed by Loftus Road plc owner Chris Wright.

Earlier this week Loftus Road plc, which also owns Queens Park Rangers football club, called in the administrators after sustaining losses over several months.
