No room for Mehrtens against Waratahs

All Blacks flyhalf Andrew Mehrtens will again ply his trade in Christchurch club rugby this weekend after missing selection in the Crusaders squad for a second week.

The Crusaders meet the Waratahs in Sydney on Saturday night with youngster Aaron Mauger retaining the No.10 jersey.

Mehrtens has fallen out of favour with Crusaders management after a season of injury and poor form.

In a boost for the Crusaders, All Blacks centre Mark Robinson returns to bench from injury. Ben Blair comes into the side at wing as a replacement for Marika Vunibaka, who will sit out the remainder of the tournament after sustaining a neck injury against the Sharks last weekend.
