Lions call up for Bulloch and Corry
June 9, 2001

Glasgow Caledonian Gordon Bulloch and Leicester's Martin Corry will join the touring Lions side in Australia before Tuesday's second game in Townsville.

Bulloch will cover for Phil Greening who damaged medial ligaments in training on Thursday. Manager Donal Lenihan said: "Phil could be OK to two to three weeks but we have taken the decision to fly Gordon Bulloch out and he should arrive in Townsville before us".

The Lions office in Dublin was given the job of hunting Bulloch down as he was on holiday in Colorado at the time of the call.

Meanwhile Corry, who was in Canada with the England squad will cover for Simon Taylor who damaged knee ligaments in Friday's resounding win over Western Australia.

Taylor underwent a scan on Saturday and with Lawrence Dallaglio still recovering from his knee injury the Lions management felt it prudent to call up the England player as back row cover.
