Swansea launch search for assistant coach
June 29, 2001

Swansea today launched a world-wide search for a new assistant coach to replace Clive Griffiths who is believed to have been offered a full time position on the Welsh Rugby Union coaching staff.

Swansea Team Manager, Richard Moriarty, commented "The club is working on the assumption that Clive is due to be offered a position in the national coaching set-up and if this is the case we need to start searching for a quality replacement at the earliest opportunity. As a management team we have not ruled out the possibility of bringing in an overseas coach, and we will leave no stone unturned to find the best possible person to work with John Plumtree."

Applications for the position should be made in writing to arrive no later than 18th July, for the attention of Richard Moriarty at Swansea RFC, St.Helen's Ground, Bryn Road, Swansea, SA2 0AR.
