Johnson cops it from Harrison's mum

Lions skipper Martin Johnson has been labelled arrogant and ignorant by Wallaby lock Justin Harrison's Mum after he refused to swap shirts with her son following the 3rd and decisive Test.

Judith Harrison wrote to The Australian after her son was the target of taunts from Lions winger Austin Healey, who described him as a 'plank' and a 'plod', in the countdown to last Saturday's series-deciding third Test at Stadium Australia, won 29-23 by the Wallabies.

The man-of-the-match was snubbed by the Lions' skipper, who refused to engage in a post-match jersey swap with the lock who only got the Test nod after an injury to David Giffin.

"Johnson . . . showed the epitome of ignorance and arrogance, as displayed all tour, by refusing rudely to swap jerseys with Justin," Mrs Harrison wrote. "I'm tempted to write to his mother, if I could be assured he has one that would lay claim to him.

"And how dare he try those choking tactics with both hands around my son's neck. Lose your cool did you Marty?"
