Leeds look to cement their future
August 14, 2001

Premiership new boys Leeds have announced two more sponsorship deals that they hope will strengthen their bid for survival in the top flight this season.

Yorkshire Forward - a regional development agency - and Hong Kong-based kit suppliers Kukri Sports have joined the backers at Leeds in deals that will gross £180,000 over two years.

These deals follow a £250,000 deal with Leeds & Holbeck Building Society to be the main shirt sponsor for the new season and the next.

Speculation is also rife at the Yorkshire club over the two overseas signing they hope to make before the start of the new season.

Reports suggest they will be the South African duo of prop Cobus Visagie and outside-half Braam van Straaten.
