Wellington crush Counties-Manukau

Wellington proved too strong for Counties-Manukau crushing them 47 - 0 in their latest NPC clash.

Wellington scored two tries in the first half, the first by Paul Steinmetz, the second by Jonah Lomu. Wellington stretched their lead to 18-0 at half time thanks to another 8 points from Steinmetz's boot.

Lomu grabbed a second try in the second half, and Lome Fa'atau, Christian Cullen, and Riki Flutey all grabbed a try each. Their scoring was rounded off with a conversion by Flutey, and a further penalty and two conversions from Steinmetz.
