NOVA scores big win

Northern Virginia club NOVA kicked off its fall campaign with an impressive 50-32 win against Raleigh in second week action of the Mid Atlantic Rugby Football Union (MARFU) fall competition.

The result was something of a surprise as Raleigh had racked up 55 points themselves against PAC the previous week.

Other results from Week 2: PAC's game with the Norfolk Blues was postponed, Maryland Exiles downed Media 32-5, Brandywine pipped Baltimore-Chesapeake 27-25, while Schuylkill River topped Frederick 37-27.
