Dawson back to spark Saints

England scrum half Matt Dawson returns from a five-week absence to join the Northampton starting line-up for Saturday's Powergen Cup sixth round tie against Birmingham/Solihull.

Dawson, who has been out of action since taking a heavy knock during Saints' Zurich Premiership draw with Harlequins, takes over from Dom Malone.

England wing Ben Cohen moves from wing to centre, replacing Australian Peter Jorgensen, while Mark Tucker fills the midfield vacancy left by Scottish international John Leslie's knee injury. Tighthead prop Chris Budgen, who liuned up for Birmingham/Solihull against Saints in the cup last season, makes his first start for the Saints.
