World Sevens Series Stats
January 11, 2002

Sevens is a fast and furious game, full of open play and scoring opportunities.

Evidence of this are the staggering IRB World Sevens Series all-time figures.

With Chile being the second tournament in the Series' third season, a grand figure of 41 nations have played in at least one IRB Series tournament.

Fijian ace Waisele Serevi easily leads the points scoring and goal kicking charts, while New Zealand flyer Karl Te Nana the all time top try-scorer, closely challenged by Filimoni Delasau, from Fiji.

New Zealand have scored 21 tries more than Fiji, with the Australians tagging 80 scores behind. The "men in black" have also scored the most overall points, again, closely followed by Fiji.
