Wasps move to new ground nears
February 4, 2002

Zurich Premiership side London Wasps' move away from Loftus Road moved a step nearer today with the confirmation that Barclaycard Premiership football club Fulham will share Queens Park Rangers' ground from next year.

The confirmation of Fulham's move to their west London neighbours, due to re-development of their own ground, means Wasps will have to tie up the deal to secure their move away to either Wycombe Wanderers or Premiership neighbours Harlequins.

The Zurich Premiership side are reportedly being paid around £300,000 to move out of their home, while QPR are set to benefit by £1m for sharing with Fulham.
