Dawson rules himself out of France clash

England and Northampton scrum-half has ruled himself out of the next Six Nations clash with France.

Dawson has previously targeted the Paris clash for an international return from an ankle injujry but he has resigned himself to the fact he will not be match fit March 3.

He will make himself available for selection for the Saints this weekend but a lack of match time would work against him.

He would also be hard pressed to dislodge Saracens' Kyran Bracken from the starting scrum-half spot.
