Waratahs call in Kaspa
March 13, 2002

Flanker Simon Kasprowicz will make his run-on Super 12 debut for the Waratahs in Saturday's clash against the Cats at Aussie Stadium.

The 25-year-old younger brother of Australian and Bulls pace bowler Michael Kasprowicz replaces Des Tuiavii, who will start from the bench.

Kasprowicz made his Super 12 debut last weekend when he came off the bench during the 51-19 win against the Bulls.

Tuiavii has been one of the Waratahs' best performers during their stunning start to the season, but coach Bob Dwyer made the change to counter the Cats' strength in the forwards.

Injured prop Patricio Noriega will start from the bench with Matt Dunning returning to the run-on side. Noriega has until Friday to overcome a rib cartilage injury.
