Williams in doubt for England clash
March 13, 2002

Cardiff back Rhys Williams could miss Wales' Lloyds TSB Six Nations Championship clash against England at Twickenham on March 23.

Williams broke a bone in his left hand during Cardiff's Welsh-Scottish League victory over Ebbw Vale on Saturday March 9.

He has been advised to avoid contact work for 10 days, leaving him facing a frantic race against the clock.

Wales coach Steve Hansen is expected to name a 22-man squad next Monday, before confirming his starting line-up 48 hours later.
