New Zealand have claimed the latest World Sevens Series title in Beijing after a 41-14 Cup Final victory over South Africa. New Zealand claimed their place in the final after seeing off Fiji 35-12, while South Africa took the notable scalp of Australia 19-12. Earlier in the day England fell at the quarter-final stage, losing 28-14 to Fiji. England bounced back to win the Plate competition, defeating the USA 21-12 in the semi-finals and Samoa 33-14 in the final. France calimed the Bowl title with a 24-19 victory over Canada. |
