Dominguez back for Italy
March 20, 2002

Diego Dominguez, Italy'record points scorer, returns to the squad for their Six Nations clash with Ireland in Dublin this weekend.

He has recovered from the groin strain which kept him out of the side which lost to Wales.

The bad news for Italy though is that they will be without number eight Carlo Checchinato who has failed to recover from a thigh injury. The Benetton Treviso star, who has won a record 75 caps for his country, is joined on the sidelines by Juan Manuel Queirolo who has a fractured cheekbone.

Full Italy squad:

Mauro Bergamasco, Marco Bortolami, Denis Dallan, Giampiero De Carli, Andrea De Rossi, Santiago Dellape, Diego Dominguez, Mark Giacheri, Matteo Mazzantini, Andrea Moretti, Alessandro Moscardi, Roberto Pedrazzi, Gert Peens, Aaron Persico, Salvatore Perugini, Matthew Phillips, Ramiro Pez, Federico Pucciariello, Giovanni Raineri, Cristian Stoica, Alessandro Troncon, Cristian Zanoletti.
