Miller ruled out of final Six Nations clash
March 31, 2002

Ireland back row Eric Miller has been ruled out of next weekend's final Lloyds TSB Six Nations Championship clash with France in Paris.

Miller, who came on as a late replacement during the 32-17 victory over Italy at Lansdowne Road eight days ago, was forced to leave the field with concussion yesterday when playing for club side Terenure in their AIB All-Ireland League Division One match against Shannon.

Miller, who suffered the injury eight minutes before half-time, now has an automatic break from action as a result of the concussion.

He will be replaced in the Ireland squad for the Stade de France clash by Leinster team-mate Keith Gleeson, with Galwegians' John O'Connor replacing Gleeson in the Ireland A squad.
