New face sin Scotland squad

Scotland coach Ian McGeechan has named five newcomers in a 38-strong Scotland squad ahead of their clash with the Barbarians on June 1.

Orrell centre Andy Craig, Worcester full-back Ben Hinshelwood, Glasgow Hawks centre Tom Philip, Hawick wing Nick Walker and Stirling County back-row forward Allister Hogg have all been handed places.

The national squad finished a disappointing Six Nations campaign on a high with victory over Wales and they will be looking to maintain that against the Baa-Baas before their tour of Canada and USA next month.
