Zurich Premiership side London Wasps are reportedly close to signing France's Grand Slam-winning flanker Olivier Magne.

The Evening Standard reports that the Montferrand open-side flanker is understood to be "very keen" to join Wasps.

Wasps complete their amazing season at Bath on Sunday and following the fixture Gatland will complete preparations for a one-week pre-season trip to Poland where the team will be based an hour from Warsaw at the country's Olympic training base.

Gatland told the newspaper, "The players will train in the morning and then enter a cryotherapy chamber where the temperature will be minus 130oC.

"The effect is like being on steroids without taking anything and you're able to train just as hard in the afternoon because of the effect of the cold on your body.

"The players will enter the chamber in groups of five and wear clogs, gloves and shorts. You are only in there for three or four minutes and guys tell jokes and chat to try and ignore the intense cold.

"We are going to take Dave Reddin, the England fitness advisor, so we can make the most of this opportunity."
