Clarification of European qualification and seeding:

  • 1. Heineken Cup Winner
  • 2. Zurich Championship Winner
  • 3. Zurich Premiership Winner
  • 4. Zurich Premiership Runner-up
  • 5. Zurich Premiership Third
  • 6. Parker Pen Shield Winner

Should any club(s) qualify as two or more of the above clubs, it will take the highest seeded position for which it qualifies and relinquish any other qualification. In these cases, the clubs in positions below such relinquished places will move up to occupy the higher seeded position.

If a Zurich Premiership club fails to win the Heineken Cup, then seeded positions 2-6 will become 1-5.

Any vacancies resulting from multiple qualification, or from Zurich Premiership clubs failing to win the Heineken Cup or Parker Pen Shield will be filled in the following order:

  • 7. Zurich Championship Runner-up
  • 8. Zurich Premiership Fourth
  • 9. Powergen Cup Winner

The remaining Zurich Premiership clubs will qualify for the Parker Pen Shield, seeded in order of final position in the Zurich Premiership.

The Zurich Championship Final will take place at Twickenham on Saturday 8 June at 3pm with a host of entertainment in addition to the big match.

The Zurich Village, which will be located in the West Car Park at Twickenham, will provide a range of family entertainment with music, street entertainers and bouncy castles, plus representatives from all 12 Zurich Premiership clubs will be attending, giving supporters a chance to meet and chat with players.

Additionally, the popular Rugby World Mascot Sevens match will take place on the pitch at half time, plus the Zurich Championship Ball, a giant 3m high rugby ball that has been touring the country collecting good luck messages from children and Zurich Premiership players, will be on display.

Tickets for the Zurich Championship Final are priced at £18 and £28 for adults, £9 and £14 for children. To order tickets call Ticketmaster on Tel 0870 902 0000 or visit www.ticketmaster.co.uk
