Howe in for Horgan
May 24, 2002

Tyrone Howe has been called into the Ireland squad to tour New Zealand as a replacement for Anthony Horgan.

Horgan was withdrawn on Thursday after fracturing two bones in his hand while training with the Munster squad ahead of their Heineken Cup Final with Leicester in Cardiff.

Ulsterman Howe is the second replacement on the tour this week following Sale centre Mel Deane's inclusion at the expense of the injured Shane Horgan. The Irish squad will depart for New Zealand from Dublin on Saturday, June 1.
