Munster "gutted"

Two years ago Munster were pipped by a point by Northampton. Today they looked capable of upsetting reigning champions Leicester to lift the Heineken Cup. No wonder Munster's Peter Stringer said afterwards: "To say we're gutted is an understatement - we would love to have won, particularly having lost by a point two years ago." But the feeling in the Leicester dressing room was altogether different. "It doesn't get much better than this. Exhilarating, fantastic, proud," said Austin Healey. |
