SA 7s forced into changes

Springbok Sevens coach Chester Williams has been forced to make two changes to his squad for this month's Commonwealth Games due to injuries.

SA Under-21 World Cup winner Dewey Swartbooi comes into the team for Wayne van Heerden (broken finger), while SA Under-19 captain Luke Watson replaces Marius Schoeman (broken arm).

In a media release SA Rugby (Pty) Ltd says Van Heerden was injured during a practice session, while Schoeman was hurt during the Pumas' game against the touring Samoans.

The squad in full is: Anton Pitout, Dale Heidtmann, Paul Treu, Egon Seconds, Fabian Juries, Neil Powell, Eugene Francis and Gaffie du Toit.
