Wasps beat Connacht

Zurich Premiership side London Wasps opened their account at their new Adams Park home with a 33-27 victory over Connacht.

London Wasps scored four tries, two by flanker Paul Volley with Josh Lewsey and Dafydd Lewis getting the others. Alex King kicked one penalty and two conversions while Logan added another two penalties late in the second half.

The sides went into the break tied at 10-10. Gavin Duffy scoring Connacht's try with Eric Elwood converting and he also added a penalty. Ted Robinson scored twice in the second half for the tourists.

This was London Wasps' first of three pre-season matches before the start of the Zurich Premiership.
