Horgan injured in Ireland training
August 22, 2002

Ireland back Shane Horgan is set to miss
the clash with Romania on September 7 after injuring his ankle in training.

Initial fears of serious damage have been allayed and he is likely to be out for only 2-3 weeks.

The injury wasn't to the same ankle that ruled him out of much of last season including the tour to New Zealand.

He will have further medical examination in Dublin today and it is hoped he will return in time for the RWC qualifiers against Russia and Georgia.
