Hall out of Currie Cup Final
October 21, 2002

Lions and Springbok wing Dean Hall has been ruled out of this Saturday's Bankfin Currie Cup Final is still struggling with a knee injury.

Hall missed last weekend's semi-final victory over Free State Cheetahs and Lions coach Frans Ludeke confirmed he will not be considered for selection for the final.

However, Ludeke is hopeful Springbok loose-forward Van Niekerk who also missed the semi-final with a groin injury will return.

There are also concerns over Springbok loosehead prop Lawrence Sephaka who sat out Monday's Springbok training session in Johannesburg due to the hip injury that forced him off the field on Saturday.
