Italian coach John Kirwan has included 36-year-old veteran Diego Dominguez in his 34-man squad to play Argentina and Australia.

"Dominguez has demonstrated every week that he's one of the best fly-halves in France," said New Zealander Kirwan months after taking over the job from countryman Brad Johnstone.

"He's in great shape and deserves his selection. Personally I have seen him play against Rovigo twice this season, and have seen tapes of many of his games. My criteria is to make sure I pick the best players."

The 34 will gather in Padova on Monday to begin training for the one-off Tests against Argentina at the Stadio Flaminio in Rome on November 16 and the Wallabies at Genova on November 23.
